A graphic journey through time, exploring how Sussex’s landscape and wildlife have changed since before the last ice age! Check out the last page to draw your vision for the next chapter of the story. How would you like Sussex to look in 2050?
Ever wondered how the UK landscape has changed over thousands of years?
Artist Daniel Locke, in partnership with Dr Christopher Sandom (University of Sussex) re-imagined how habitats have developed over 125,000 years of climate change and human interaction. This comic through time formed a larger project and exhibition at the ONCA gallery, Brighton, where young people were invited to share their bio-diverse visions of future landscapes.
Please email us if you are interested in exhibiting Through The Bush Backwards and be sure to check our social media accounts for news on future exhibitions.
If you would like to send us your vision of a more bio-diverse Britain, please email us your artwork!
